How to setup the feature for success
Credentials Validity is an optional add-on that needs to be activated by your Customer Success Manager. For a quote and demo of the feature please contact your dedicated CSM.
Once the feature is activated, the first thing we recommend is to add/edit your custom file types (a feature that all users have access to as standard).
With the credentials validity add-on activated, there are some extra options when creating/editing custom file types; Expiry period & Warning period as seen below:
These are used to assign a status to attachments that have dates set, and will be displayed as the following symbols in the attachments area on a candidate profile.

Expiring Soon
Expired
Attachments are now also displayed in a table view and colour coded for quick easy visuals on which files need your attention!
If you collect documents via forms, ensure that you have mapped the file uploader fields to the custom file types in the Candidate profile target field drop down list:
How it works
Candidates submit documents via a form OR users drag and drop documents directly onto the candidate profile.
Teamdash AI will scan the documents, label them correctly and extract valid from and valid until dates, if found.
The AI can extract dates from all sorts of file types including images! 😎
Note: If you don't have the AI feature activated, you can still map file types using forms, re-assign file types and manually add valid from and valid to dates using the 3 dot menu on the right hand side. AI just makes it much faster and easier!
Only Admin and Regular Users can make these changes.
The Talent Pool search filters have also been updated to include searching by file type and status.
