Teamdash offers a 1-way integration with SS.lv, which allows you to publish a job ad from Teamdash to SS.lv.
How does it work?
Create a job ad as a landing page in Teamdash. Create and design the content to your preference, but make sure the landing page includes an application form.
Export the active job ad to the ss.lv feed. The job ad will be posted to ss.lv, and the landing page will be attached to a field called WWW.
To get candidates applying through the linked landing page, we suggest adding a sentence to the description that would direct them to the W W W field.
Integration set up
Preparing the feed in Teamdash
Navigate to the Integrations menu and click "Add integration"
Choose ss.lv from the "Type" menu, and you will see the following form:
Add a friendly integration name. This will be internally visible in Teamdash, e.g., "ss.lv" Keep the integration Public.
Add your Client ID by looking it up from the ss.lv page. Open My Adverts → XML
There, you will find the File format button (Faila formata in Latvian) on the top right corner, click on it and you will see your Client ID. Copy it and add it to the field in Teamdash.
Save the integration.
You will now see two additional fields, Feed and API Keys. Copy the URL address from the Feed field:
Go back to the My Adverts → XML page on ss.lv and add it to the Add XML link field. Please pay attention that they have the field pre-filled with "https://", make sure you delete this before pasting the copied link. Click Save.Lastly, go back to Teamdash and open the Organisation settings → Brand tab. Find a field called Org. registry code, and add your code. Save the changes.
That's it! You are now ready to start posting job ads to ss.lv!
FAQ
My job ad has not been posted to ss.lv, what's the matter?
To troubleshoot why your job ad has not been posted, please go to the ss.lv page and open My Adverts → XML. There, you are able to see in red "Error" and next to it, there is usually a number, which represents how many errors there are. By clicking on the number, you will see the reason why the job ad didn't go up.
Once you've made the required changes, delete the XML link in ss.lv and add it again. After adding the link, it will redirect you back to the XML page. You will see that the status is "Waiting", but after refreshing the page, you can immediately see if the errors were solved.
Why is my job ad not published automatically, and I need to publish the ad manually in ss.lv?
Open ss.lv and go to My Adverts → XML. You have an option there, called Automatically publish job ads that you can check or uncheck as desired. To publish job ads automatically, make sure it is checked.
