Direct employer integration with Indeed Apply

Teamdash offers a 2-way integration with Indeed:

  • You can publish job ads from Teamdash to Indeed

  • You will receive all applicants straight to your Teamdash project

Teamdash uses the Direct Employer integration. The feed is set up in Teamdash and your Client Manager at Indeed will manage the process to get the feed approved and live.

As this is not a self-serve integration, reach out and we'll help you get started!

Prepare the feed in Teamdash

  • Navigate to the Integrations menu and click "Add integration"

  • Choose Indeed from the "Type" menu and you will see the following form:
    โ€‹

  • Add a friendly integration name. This will be internally visible in Teamdash, e.g just "Indeed".

  • Add an e-mail address of the Indeed account that is used to manage this integration.

    • The email should have full rights on Indeed.

    • The integration is public and all team members can use it in Teamdash. If you have more than one account on Indeed, only one Public Integration through one account is enough.

  • Add Client ID and Client Secret. Find the credentials with these quick steps:

    • Sign into your Indeed account

    • Once logged in, go to the "Manage app credentials" here:
      โ€‹https://secure.indeed.com/account/apikeys

    • Click on the "Register a new application" button.

    • Enter "Teamdash" as the application name and add a short description (e.g. "Teamdash recruitment software").

    • Choose Indeed Apply as the credential type and click Save.

    • Copy and paste the generated credentials into Teamdash view.

Click Save and you have a new integration feed!

Before feed approval

After setting up the feed, Indeed aggregation team will review it. Before submitting the feed into review, there are some details that Indeed requires to finish:

  • the feed should include at least two published job ads

  • you must provide Indeed with a link to your career page

    • Indeed requires a source URL for job ad volume check

Submitting a feed to Indeed

Teamdash support team will help you manage all technicalities and communication regarding the feed setup and getting it approved. If you have a dedicated account manager at Indeed, share the contacts with your Teamdash success manager and we'll help you move forward.

How can I get the feed approved if I don't have a dedicated account manager from Indeed?

Indeed advises to reach out via this number UK: 0800 652 9825 or Ireland: 1800 937 491 if you are looking to have an account manager on your Indeed account. The main line team can help with the integration of an ATS and advise if an account manager can be added. Usually, clients need to have more than 5 jobs and be spending a certain amount before an account manager is added but this can be discussed via the number above.

Creating a job ad for Indeed

  • Create at least 2 landing pages under Teamdash Job Ads

  • Publish the landing pages into the Indeed feed

  • Make sure all content on the landing page will match exactly with the details added to the job description when exporting.

    • Indeed will check this manually. If a landing includes salary information, this must be reflected on job details precisely.

  • Indeed will use the landing page as a source of information.

    • the Indeed job ad content will be automatically scraped from the landing page text blocks

    • Indeed will not display or redirect applicants to the landing page

How long does it take for a job ad to appear on Indeed when posting through Teamdash?

Indeed refreshes the job data four times a day at six-hour intervals, starting from the time of the last request.
