Consent renewal requests

In Teamdash, the legal ground for processing candidate data in an active project with in-progress status is the legitimate interest.

When marking a project Failed or Finished, the consent type of Until Project End comes invalid. How can you still maximize your Talent Pool and keep the profiles you have gathered?

One easy way to collect clear consent for a new purpose for data processing is using the built-in feature called "Consent renewal requests".
You can add a dedicated merge tag consent_renewal_url into your messages. This is convenient to use with the last feedback letter or when finishing the project.

The merge tag will generate a unique link for each applicant. When a candidate opens the link from a sent email, a dedicated Teamdash page will open with the options give a new Until Date Type of a consent or decline the request.

After submitting their preference, Teamdash will automatically update the GDPR status on their profile. Not submitting a preference will be treated as a decline.

consent_renewal_url and Organization settings

The automatic candidate view includes information that must be set under the organization settings before using the consent_renewal_url in messages.

The candidate view must refer to your Privacy Policy and give an option to the candidate to read about it.

The request validity duration sets how many days will Teamdash keep the link active to gather consent renewals.

The consent duration in months will set the deadline of the Until Date Type data processing consent.

The dispute months can be used to process data 12 months after the project end. This gives you the right to defend yourself as the employer upon any upcoming disputes. The usage of Dispute months must be referred in your Privacy notice as well.
