What are Project Actions?

Project Actions are automated prompts or tasks triggered when specific changes occur in a project’s status.

In Teamdash, you have five different project statuses:

  • in progress

  • finished

  • failed

  • on hold

  • draft

Project Action Types

There is one Project action you can set for every project :

You can find project actions in the project's Actions tab. Click Add project action and fill in the form: Action name, Trigger (Automatic - after project status change), Delay, Only run if (Project status is ... and the statuses), Template, Subject and Body, Send as, and Send to (All project users, Select users or Select roles). You can also save the message as a template.

  1. Message project members

This action automatically sends a message to selected project members when a project’s status is marked in a designated way.
