What is a Career page?

A career page is a section of a company's website that is dedicated to showcase information about job opportunities and the hiring process. It is designed to provide prospective job seekers with detailed information about the company's culture, values, and mission, as well as the benefits and perks of working for the organization.

Creating a Career Page with Teamdash landing page tool

When having the Career Page module enabled, the block becomes available under the landing page Edit view.

The module is available from the Theme menu and by opening the right side menu to choose and include it to your website.

From the block list you can choose either you want your job ads on the career page to be displayed as a grid view or list view.

By default, Teamdash includes all job ads with active status to your careers block. If your current landing page is the only landing page that is active then your Careers block will be empty.

Creating a dedicated feed for your Career Page

While by default all active job ads are visible on the career page, it is possible to create a separate channel (feed) for the Career page.

  • the Career Page becomes an export channel like job boards.

  • active landings appear on the public career page only if the user has exported the job ad.

  • the number of feeds is not limited. You can create different career pages or add multiple career blocks into one page.

Setting up a dedicated Feed

Navigate to the Integrations menu and add a new integration. Choose type Teamdash feed.

Add an Integration Name. This will be your internal reference inside Teamdash.

Exporting job ads to the preferred feed (Career page: IT jobs)

It's the same flow as posting a job ad to a job board. There is now an new channel called Career page: IT jobs (Teamdash feed) in the Channels menu. In the next steps you are asked to choose a landing page and from there on a Position name and Location which will be displayed under the thumbnail.

After the job ads are published you can open your Career page in Edit mode. On the ‘Careers’ block on the left-hand-side find the color palette icon → Feed → select the Teamdash feed you created. Now the jobs you exported to your new feed are also seen on the Career page.

Career page statistics

When using Forms with your Career page, in my Job Ads menu, when clicking on Impressions you are able to see the source and number of applicants, how many of them have submitted and what's the conversion rate.

Benefits

The purpose of a career page is to attract high-quality candidates and provide them with the information they need to make an informed decision about whether or not to apply for a job. It is also a platform for companies to showcase their employer brand and differentiate themselves from their competitors in the job market. Career pages can be a powerful tool for companies to engage with potential candidates, build relationships with them, and ultimately hire the best talent. You can set up multiple feeds and connect them to different Career blocks, which is, for example, a great way to bring out different countries' job offers in separate blocks.

Why isn't the preview image showing in my job ad grid view?

To publish the landing pages with a background image to your Career block you need to first generate the social media preview on each landing page.

‘Publish’ → Social media sharing image → Generate preview or ‘Choose image’ if you would like to add an image yourself.
