Criteria

Learn how the Teamdash–Criteria integration lets you send candidate assessments and view completed results directly through Teamdash.

Written by Steve

The Teamdash–Criteria integration lets you send Criteria assessments straight from Teamdash. When a candidate finishes, you can review their results on the candidate's profile under the Assessments tab.

How does this work?

  • After you set up the Teamdash–Criteria integration, an Assessments tab appears on each candidate profile.

  • From there, you can send one or more Criteria assessments to a candidate in a single email.

  • When the candidate completes an assessment, Criteria sends the results back to Teamdash automatically. You'll see the status, the talent signal, the scores for each test and a link to the full Criteria report, all on the candidate's profile.

  • This keeps all your assessments in one place, removes manual tracking, and helps your hiring team review results faster.

Integration set up

  • First let your Customer Success Manager or the Support team know that you would like to add an integration for Criteria, they will then activate the assessments tab, enabling you to start the setup.

  • Once this has been confirmed, contact Criteria and request an API key for the integration with Teamdash plus ask them to confirm the Region that your account is hosted in.

  • Once you have this, go to the Integrations menu and click Add integration.

  • Choose Criteria from the Other Integrations section at the bottom.

    You'll see the following form:

  • Add the API key

  • Select the Region that Criteria hosts your account in (may need confirmation from Criteria)

  • Save the integration.

  • You will then be show further information that you need to send to Criteria to complete the connection with your Criteria account.

How to send Criteria assessments to a candidate through Teamdash

  • Open the candidate profile in the project.

  • Go to the Assessments tab and click + Book assessment(s).

  • Select the Criteria assessment(s) you'd like to send. The list shows the assessment packages available in your Criteria account, and you can select more than one.

  • Send the assessment(s) to the candidate using the messaging function. Feel free to customise the message. You can also create and save message template/s to be used and selected here.

The candidate gets one email with a personal link for each assessment you booked.

Viewing assessment results

When the candidate finishes their assessment, the results are sent back to Teamdash and appear on the Assessments tab of their profile where you can see the assessment status and the sent and completion dates

Expand the assessment result to see detailed scores for each area assessed, plus an overall recommendation score for each relevant position.

From here you can also:

  • Open assessment: opens the assessment the candidate completed.

  • Open report: opens the full report in Criteria as shown here:

Notifications

When a result arrives, the project manager gets an email notification. From the email, you can click Open project to go to the project in Teamdash, or See results to open the full report in Criteria.

FAQ

The assessments don't show up – why is that?

If the Criteria assessment list is empty, it's usually caused by one of the following:

  • There is no integration set up

Make sure the integration has been created, is active and click Test connection to confirm the integration is OK!

  • The Criteria integration is user-specific (set as Private)

If another user created the integration and marked it as private, only they can see it. If you're using private integrations, make sure the integration is created under your own account.

  • A new Job/Test Battery (set of assessments) were just created in Criteria

After you create a new assessment set in Criteria, it can take a few minutes to appear in Teamdash. Wait a moment, then refresh the page.

Why can't I book an assessment for this candidate?

Teamdash won't send a new Criteria assessment if the candidate already has the same assessment in the same project, through the same integration, and that assessment has no result yet. This stops duplicate invitations from going out. When the candidate completes the first one, you can book it again if needed.

The candidate has finished, but I can't see the result yet.

Criteria normally sends results to Teamdash straight away. If a result hasn't come through, Teamdash checks with Criteria again anytime you open the Assessments tab.

You can also click the Refresh button on your browser whilst the assessment tab is open, to check right away.
