Introduction to the Candidate preview card
All applicants are created as Candidate Profiles in Teamdash. While the Candidate Profile gives you a full overview of the applicant, Teamdash shows a little candidate card in project board view.
The candidate preview card gives you a quick, structured overview of the candidate with activity statuses. It’s designed to help you gather key information at a glance and understand how a candidate is progressing through the hiring process.
From the card, engagement signals are shown through small visual icons. These icons are highlighted in color when there’s activity or new information and remain grey in their default state when there’s nothing to review.
Depending on how your hiring flow is set up and which default functionalities you use, these signals can include things like emails (messages), in-person interview calendar invites, video interviews and comments and ratings given by yourself as well as from colleagues or hiring partners:
The preview cards make it easier to assess engagement levels and decide where attention or follow-up may be needed.
Days in project
To provide more clarity, “days in project” show the total time spent in the recruitment project for each candidate.
This is an optional information. Visibility preference can be set under Organization Settings:
Days in stage
In addition, “days in stage” show the time candidate has spent in the specific stage in the project. When moving a candidate to another stage, the "days in stage" number will automatically reset to 0 days in stage after the movement.
This gives teams a more rounded view of progress and momentum across the entire process. From a candidate perspective, it becomes easier to spot who may need a follow-up. From a process perspective, it helps identify stages where things may be slowing down or creating bottlenecks - making it a good moment to review workflows or consider automation.
